My review of my first year at intermediate

Week 8 Term 4

Bonjour,

This week has been fun.  We have been doing discussions for half the week, the first discussion was about minds.  We had to think of the definition of mind, how it was different from the brain, and then we were split into groups to think about different things, and decide if they had minds.  It was quite challenging and quite fun.  The discussion we started yesterday (Wednesday) was about art, and what art is.  We did the same thing with the art that we did about minds.  Another thing that has happened yesterday was my finger, I was doing cartwheels with Grace, and I did it weirdly, and failed, and ended up landing on my pinkie finger.  Mum bandaged it up, and its not broken because I can move it, but it's still really sore.

My Song Lyrics Moving Image

This video is similar to my poetry moving image, except it's with a song.

Week 7 Term 4

Bonjour,

It's week 7 already, almost the end of the year!  The disco was this week and the theme was 'Pray For Paris'  To support the terrorist attacks happening there at the moment.  I didn't really have anything related to the theme, so I just wore my french top, not from Paris, but it has french on it.  The bands paid a visit to the primary's on Thursday, and one of those primary's was my old school, Te Awamutu Primary.  I remember last  year when I was still there and the intermediate came and preformed, it was so cool, and it inspired me to learn to play an instrument.  I play keyboard/piano, but I'm not in band because they needed a experienced player, and since it was my first year playing, I couldn't do it.  Keyboard is the only instrument in band that you have to have experience in to play, all the rest you can be in your first year and still be in band.  I could've chosen another instrument and been able to play in band, but I really wanted to do keyboard.  Next week is the start of December which means under one month til Christmas!!
