Bonjour!
I can't believe that it is almost the end of the second week, this term is going really fast. On Tuesday we started making pillows in tech, and my is really cool, I am hoping to put a photo on my blog when it is done. In writing we are doing speeches, as well as argument writing. Our topic(s) is: 'Cats are better then dogs', or, 'Dogs are better then cats'. I am doing the first one because I have a cat. If we could say that we don't like any of them I would do that because I am allergic to dogs, and cats fur. Matua Pou has made a school haka which we have been practicing during school singing time. We have another practice today in the ALC, we are have a house competition tomorrow,(Friday,) to see which house can do the haka the best.

Week 1 Term 3
Bonjour!
Its is the start of Term 3 already. This year has gone really fast, and we have already started lots of things. In maths we have started learning about algebra patterns, and its quite difficult but quite fun too. We have started fabric for tech arts and on Tuesday we made a soft tennis ball. Mine looks more like a potato then a tennis ball. On Friday, we made a pencil case, mine looks really good, this is a photo of it:

It was really fun making it, and I did it all by myself! I can't wait to see what we are making next week. In writing we are still doing speeches, and I am almost finished mine, and we are doing them in week four. We have also been doing something called readers theatre to improve our public speaking ready for speeches. Readers theatre is like a play except you don't use actions, just your voice.
